President Rebecca C. Quarles, PhD, is a nationally respected researcher and is the
firm’s principal analyst and client contact. Dr. Quarles is active in the
Council of American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO, Board of Directors),
where she has co-chaired conferences on international survey research and
data collection challenges, and in the American Association for Public
Opinion Research (AAPOR), where she has served as President of both Pacific
and Washington-Baltimore chapters. Before founding QSA, she was a professor
of Mass Communications at the University of Georgia and at Cleveland State
University, and was a senior executive for two of the nation’s largest
research firms. Dr. Quarles holds a doctorate in Mass Communication from the
University of Wisconsin-Madison. A former journalist and advertising/public
relations consultant, Dr. Quarles has special expertise in conducting
research on communications issues, including the development and evaluation
of advertising and public relations campaigns. |

Vice President Robert W. Schnurr, MBA, handles statistical analysis, data processing,
sample development and database management, developing new software systems,
graphics and statistical applications that keep QSA on the forefront of
leading technology. Mr. Schnurr pioneered the use of neural network
technology for survey applications for data quality enhancement and high
resolution segmentation. He is a software engineer and flight simulator
mathematician, who wrote math engines for two games that won Action Game of
the Year awards. He holds an MBA in Operations Research and a BA in
Industrial Psychology from Marquette University. |
